Everything we read suggests a good CIO thinks like a business executive.  A good CIO thinks strategically — looks long term at the business and how the IT enterprise enhances that business.  Sounds good but… when do we find time?  Too often it feels like all we have time for are the day-to-day tactical decisions that keep our shops running.
